Thanks to our Ambassadors

I wanted to give our Ambassadors a special thanks for all the hard work they did at Mid America. The Ambassador Program was developed to allow seasoned Trucker Buddies a chance to help and advise us on how we can make it better. To be an Ambassador you must be in the program for at least 2 years and approved by the Ambassador leaders.

The Ambassadors worked at the booth, talked to future drivers, and helped set up and take down of the booth. We are truly blessed to great people representing us.

BTW, we had two teachers at the booth. Both did a fantastic job explaining the program to other drivers.

Drive Safely Going to Mid America

Be safe going to Mid America. Come by our booth in the main lobby and say hi. This is a busy time of the year for us at Trucker Buddy but trades shows are time to meet face to face and say hi. We want to thank all our Trucker Buddies for everything they do.

Trucker Buddy at Mid-Amercia Trucking Show.

Trucker Buddy will have a ton of things happening at MATS this year. First, we will have our normal booth in the lobby of the show and we will have another spot outside with Mike Ryan's Pike Peak Truck. Come by and see us! Second, we will have our Trucker Buddy of the Month press conference on Friday, March 26th, at 1 pm in room C108.

Chevron is featuring Trucker Buddy on their Question and Answer Game within their booth. Take time to go by their booth and take the test.

Lastly, we will have our annual Board of Directors meeting on Friday. We'll discuss the program and how we can make it better for next year. We have three Directors who have termed out and will be moving to the Advisory Council so we are adding 3 new Directors at the Board Meeting. I'll announce them when it becomes official.

Mid America is always a busy show but we want to talk to you and answer any questions you might have, so come by and see us.

Trucker Buddy Launches New Website

We're launching our new Trucker Buddy website and I'm really excited to offer more tools, clean simple design and more multi-media offerings. I want to send a special thanks to John with the ATA staff for helping me make the transition as well as the entire ATA organization for supporting us all these years. All new websites have some glitches so let me know if you see one and if you have an idea for the site. A big thank you to ArvinMeritor for their support and encouragement.

Teacher Advisory Council

Teachers are a critical part of our program and we need their input to make sure we are on track. Years ago we created the Ambassador program to allow experienced Trucker Buddies the chance to be more involved and now we are announcing the Teacher Advisory Council. To be involved in this very important advisory council you must be a teacher who is experienced in our program and agree to meet (teleconference) with us on a regular basis as well as answer surveys.

We value our teachers and need their input.

If you are interested in being on the Council please let me know.
